It began with the idea of compostable packaging. How would one go about creating packaging for food made with readily available compostable packaging? Taking a look around and finding a vertible wall of bamboo, of which the nature of the plant itself forming a tube. Perfect for any round food item.

I set about attempting to craft an easily replicable container that could store food that I made myself - Marshmallows contained within an internode of bamboo. The body of the container is made from a bamboo internode, the marshmallows are skewered onto a bamboo branch which is fitted onto the septum of a bamboo node, and the packaging sheath is made from cardstock. All bamboo components are compostable while the cardstock sheath is recyclable.
